Glomus tumor. solitary, painful defect formation of the nail, accompanied by stabbing pain that occasionally radiated into the upper arm.

Comedones: numerous black (irritationless) comedones standing in groups with known now largely healed acne conglobata.

Lichen planus classic type: for several weeks persistent, red, itchy, polygonal, partially confluent, smooth, shiny papules.

Sebaceous gland hyperplasia, senile. 74-year-old patient noticed these completely asymptomatic skin changes several years ago. In large-pored (seborrhoeic) skin of the forehead region there are waxy, slightly raised papules up to 0.4 cm in size with a slightly lobed edge structure (see papule top right). The diagnosis of sebaceous gland hyperplasia is fixed at the central porus formation (see papule in the center of the picture).

Lichen sclerosus extragenitaler: extensive diffuse reddening with superimposed whitish sclerosis; occasional slight burning of the clearly atrophic skin.

Acne infantum. 2-month-old girl, 2-4 mm in size, red, inflammatory papules and pustules (left front) in 2 months. At the edge of the picture on the right side a brownish, slightly sunken scar is visible. At the top center an older papule with scaly ruffle is visible (papule in healing).

Hidrocystoma: Infraorbital localized bluish-white cystic nodule in a 61-year-old man with telangiectasia.

abscess. periodontal abscess. acute, 0.8 cm large, strongly pressure-dolent, bulging elastic, cystic, smooth lump of the palatal marginal mucosa in the area of the second premolar and the first molar, existing for 14 days. the probing depth was 11 mm palatally on the first molar. immediate improvement of the symptoms after the incision.

Angioma, senile. Multipe, chronic stationary, disseminated, erythematous, soft papules

acrodermatitis papulosa eruptiva infantilis. exanthema of a few days old on the face, on the trunk (very discreet) and the extremities. disseminated, 0.2-0.4 cm large, red to reddish-brown papules with smooth surface. on the earlobe flat, succulent erythema with several, in places aggregated, rich red papules and vesicles.

Mucinosis follicularis type III: Chronic, often generalized, slightly itchy form in middle-aged to older adults, with disseminated, 0.1 cm large, skin-colored, red follicular papules on the trunk and extremities; possible precursor stage of folliculotropic mycosis fungoides (DD; type II of mucinosis follicularis; DD: malasseziafolliculitis).

Dermatitis papulosa juvenilis: flat, 0.1-0.3 cm large, hemispherical or roundish, also polygonal, low inflammatory lichenoid papules.

Verrucae planae juveniles: 30-year-old woman, the findings have existed for several years.

Dermatitis, hypereosinophilic. partly papular, partly plaque-like, considerably itchy exanthema of disseminated, 0.3-1.5 cm large, red, smooth papules which have merged into an anular plaque formation on the buttocks.
