rosacea papulopustulosa: centrofacially localized redness, inflammatory papules and pustules. infestation of the eyelids. recurrent keratoconjunctivitis.
lupus erythematodes tumidus: for 4 weeks existing, little symptomatic, succulent, bright red, surface smooth papules and plaques. probably occurred after UV exposure (correlation could not be clearly clarified). no hyperesthesia. ANA: 1:160; DNA-Ak negative; DIF: uncharacteristic. initiation of therapy with Resochin.
Dermal melanocytic nevus: for 12 years persistent, 0.9 x 0.9 cm in diameter, soft, sharply defined, calotte-shaped skin-coloured lump on the forehead. 76 year old female patient: "In former times a brownish birthmark had been located at this site".
Elastoidosis cutanea nodularis et cystica. multiple, chronic inpatient, bds. periorbital localized, 0.2-0.4 cm large, blurred, soft, symptomless, black papules (comedones) and yellow papules (nodular elastosis). occurs in a 65-year-old man with chronic UV exposure over decades.
Dyskeratosis follicularis: Large, hyperkeratotic zones existing since early childhood with reddish, partly macerated papules and firmly adhering, partly eroded, confluent keratoses on the capillitium of a 74-year-old woman.
Acne papulo-pustulosa: severe (untreated) clinical picture with inflammatory papules, papulo-pustules and pustules in a 16-year-old patient. picture of acne vulgaris (type: acne papulo-pustulosa, grade IV). classic indication for systemic isotretinoin therapy!
Keratosis actinica, keratotic type: In a 72-year-old outdoor worker, adherent keratotic plaques have increasingly developed in recent years, the mechanical detachment of which is painful, with a tendency to bleed.
