Tick at blood meal: collateral inflammatory reaction.

Erythema chronicum migrans: anular erythema that has been developing for several weeks, completely without symptoms.

Erythema chronicum migrans. 49-year-old female patient. skin lesions since 4-5 months. 22 cm in diameter, in the centre bright, at the edges clearly more reddened spot with a smooth surface. no subjective symptoms. in the upper third on the left side a small, more reddened papule is visible (bite site of the tick).

Erythema chronicum migrans. circular, slowly centrifugally growing, completely asymptomatic, borderline erythema after tick bite. no increase in consistency

Erythema chronicum migrans: Oval, slowly growing, completely symptom-free, red-brown, homogeneously filled stain, slightly darkened in the centre. persists for about 2 months. healing under 2-week therapy with doxycyline (200 mg). stain was still visible 6 months after completion of antibiotic therapy.

Erythema chronicum migrans. 3-month-old findings are shown here. 10 days after tick bite on the right upper arm of a forester a roundish-oval, disc-shaped, sharply edged, centrally blistering, livid red erythema developed which slowly expanded centrifugally.

Erythema chronicum migrans, painless, sharply defined, round, red plaque with centrally located yellowish papule (tick bite), existing for 14 days.

Erythema migrans: about 2-3 months old with slow peripheral expansion; painless, non-itching, circular erythema which is well distinguishable from normal skin; the bite is still centrally visible.

erythema chronicum migrans. shown here is a finding about 3 months old. approx. 10 days after (rememberable) puncture, a painless, non-itching circular erythema developed, only moderately well distinguishable from normal skin. 3 months later the doctor was consulted.

Erythema chronicum migrans: blurred erythema, reddened scar in the centre after tick bite.

Erythema chronicum migrans. large plaque, which has been growing steadily on the periphery for about 8 months, only slightly increased in consistency, homogeneously brownish in the centre, somewhat atrophic, marked by an increasingly consistent erythema zone at the edges. only occasionally "slight pricking" in the lesional skin.

erythema chronicum migrans: 14 days ago tick bite. persistent bite reaction with continuous development of a centrifugal erythema. no pain. no fever
