Chilblain lupus - detailed view

Toxic epidermal necrolysis: extensive, painful reddening of the palm with blistering.

Anticonvulsant hypersensitivity syndrome. Large-scale erythema on the trunk after taking carbamazepine.

Teleangiectasia. Reflected light microscopy, linear and sinusoidal dilated capillary ectasia.

Dermatitis, phototoxic. detail enlargement: pronounced erythema on the fingers of the left hand. 2 x 1 cm measuring, flaccid bladder with clear content at the index.

Tinea inguinalis. solitary, chronically dynamic, continuously growing for 8 weeks, palm-sized, red, sharply defined, itchy plaque with inflammatory, follicularly bound papules in the groin area.

Dermatitis solaris. almost universal, succulent erythema in a 30-year-old patient (skin type II) after intensive, several hours of sunbathing in the midday sun. accompanying strong sensation of heat, chills and circulatory weakness about 7 hours after exposure to the sun.

Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome: extensive vascular malformation with extensive nevus flammeus affecting the trunk and both legs. No evidence of soft tissue hypertrophies so far. No AV fistulas. Here detailed picture of the right hand.

Mycosis fungoides: Plaque stage. 32-year-old male with multiple, disseminated, 1.0-5.0 cm large, moderately itchy, hardly consistency increased, red, rough plaques; clinically and histologically no detectable LK infection.

Purpura eczematid-like Purpura: explanatory detail.

AL-amyloidosis in smoldering myeloma. 77-year-old patient with recurrent ecchymosis of the periorbital region, clinically corresponding to a hematoma of the eyeglasses. These characteristic skin lesions are called "raccoon sign". Further purple skin lesions are found in the neck and retroauricularly. The bone marrow biopsy showed a smoldering myeloma (infiltration of plasma cells at 15%).

Eczema, atopic photoaggravated: Chronic persistent eczema that has existed for 2 years and exacerbates under low UV exposure.

Ulerythema ophryogenes. scarring keratosis follicularis of the face with infestation of the eyebrows and cheeks of the child. primarily noticeable is the permanent (not itchy) extensive redness, which is sharply marked in the eyebrow area, but less in the cheek area. the patients do not perceive the process as a disease process but as cosmetically disturbing.

Naevus flammeus: congenital, bilateral, chronically inpatient, bizarre, asymptomatic, non-syndromal naevus flammeus with livedo-like aspect

mononucleosis, infectious. swallowing difficulties for 5-6 days; fever > 39 °C. generalized, non-itchy exanthema for 1 day. painful regional lymph nodes (neck, throat). little itchy, urticarial, small spots, confluent exanthema in places with clear accentuation of the face. no enanthema! paul bunnel reaction positive. IgG antibodies against epstein-barr virus, fourfold increase in titer every 10-14 days. detection of epstein-barr virus dna via PCR is positive.

Naevus flammeus (Port-wine stain): sharply defined red vascular nevus that affects the upper and lower eyelid as well as the temporal region.

Malformations, vascular. mixed venous/capillary malformation with predominant subcutaneous venous part.

Teleangiectasia macularis eruptiva perstans. 54-year-old patient with a generalized macular clinical picture which has existed for years and shows a constant progression. Itching in case of heat exposure and mechanical exposure of the affected areas.

acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans. 57-year-old female patient. skin changes existing for five years now, clearly increasing for half a year, discoloured red-blueish in cold weather. large, blurredly limited, symmetrical erythema (completely anaemic). the skin surface is wrinkled in the breast area (atrophic), otherwise smooth. some splatter-like white discolorations.
