Subcorneal pustular dermatosis (Sneddon-Wilkinson) Bilder

Pustulose, subcorneal. 6-year-old boy with infantile form of the disease. Craniocaudal erupted pustules after fever attack, disseminated over the whole integument. Whole integument almost completely reddened, flat flat infiltrations of the skin with fine lamellar scaling.

Pustulose, subcorneal. general view: Pronounced, fine-lamellar scaling on the scalp in a 6-year-old boy. lip eczema with lacerated corners of the mouth. cheeks reddened.

Pustulose, subcorneal. detail enlargement: two-dimensional, flat infiltrations on the upper abdomen in the 6-year-old boy. Within the erythematous infiltrations there are multiple, densely packed, pinhead-sized pustules. fine-lamellar scaling.

pustulose, subcorneal. large, intraepithelially located, single-chambered macropustule whose upper covering is formed in sections only by the stratum corneum (right half of the pustule). the content of the pustule consists exclusively of neutrophil granulocytes. the wall of the pustule is formed only by a thin epidermal border. dense inflammatory infiltration of the underlying dermis.

pustulose, subcorneal. detail enlargement (lateral upper border of the pustule): the content of the pustule is predominantly formed by neutrophil granulocytes. the 3 larger elements are keratinocyte remains. the epithelial border of the pustule is spongiform and interspersed with neutrophil granulocytes.
