Keratosis palmoplantaris papulosa seu maculosa. since earliest childhood known keratosis anomaly of the hands (here less conspicuous) and feet, which is not disturbing so far. multiple, differently sized, wart-like horny cones with rough, scaly surface.
Acrokeratosis paraneoplastic: the thoracic view shows disseminated, yellowish-brownish keratotic plaques, which condense in the area of the Areolae mamillae as well as centrothoracally in the sternal region; in the sternal region aspect of the seborrhoeic eczema (but the inflammatory component is missing).
Xanthogranuloma juveniles (sensu strictu). soft elastic, yellowish, completely asymptomatic, hardly elevated plaques. no Darier's sign! 10-month-old female infant with multiple xanthogranulomas. size growth in the first months of life.
Tinea manuum, impetiginierte: plaque on the back of the hand and forefinger that has existed for several months, accentuated at the edges, coarse lamellar scaling on the back of the hand and forefinger.moderate itching. increased weeping scaling in recent weeks. cultural evidence of Trichophyton rubrum.
Bednar's aphthae. large, very painful flat ulcers in the vestibulum oris covered with fibrin. 77-year-old patient has been suffering from these aphthous ulcers for 1 year.
Herpes simplex virus infection: severe and extensive, multifocal herpes simplex infection of the lower lip with pronounced collateral swelling; underlying HIV infection
Syphilis acquisita:painless, very coarse primary effect of the upper lip, 3 weeks after suspicious sexual contact. Considerable firm swelling of the upper lip. Clear, non-painful adenopathy of the submandibular lymph nodes.
sebaceous gland hyperplasia, senile. large, isolated, skin-coloured to yellowish, soft-elastic nodules (phymogenesis - see also rhinophyma) on the cheek of a 66-year-old man. on lateral view lobular structure with bumpy surface structure. pronounced actinic elastosis with beginning M. Favre-Racouchaud.
