Keratosis palmoplantaris diffusa circumscripta: Thick, waxy, yellowish, plate-like horny layer which covers the entire palm of the hand and also the sole of the foot. The mobility of the hands is restricted. Characteristically, the red seam of the affected groin skin shown here separates the infected skin from unaffected field skin.
Acrodermatitis continua suppurativa: a pustular disease with a relapsing course that has been present for several years; confluent pustules, complete nail destruction.
Favus. solitary, acute, approx. 3.0 x 2.5 cm, acutely acute, approx. 3.0 x 2.5 cm in size, localized on the capillitium, sharply defined, plumply raised, clearly increased in consistency, white, rough, with yellow crusts, asymptomatic plaque in a 7-year-old boy. A slight mouse urine smell was noticed during the examination.
Naevus sebaceus: Hairless spot (plaque) existing since birth in the capillitium of a 4-year-old boy with progressive yellow coloration and increasing thickness growth in the last months.
Pachyonychia congenita: congenital nail dystrophy affecting all fingernails and toenails with palmareratoses; claw-shaped, thickened fingernails and toenails.
Psoriasis of the nails: circumscribed damage to the nail root with alteration of the cuticle, marked by arrows and crossbars. Oval circles around an onycholysis area. The marked crossbars denote so-called Beau-Reilsche transverse furrows.
Adnexal carcinoma, microcystic. skin colour to yellowish, rough plaque, difficult to delimit, with superficial telangiectasia and atrophic, shiny surface.
Folliculitis, gram-negative. in the area of the facial skin localized, disseminated standing, solitary, partly excised papules, pustules and nodules in a 50-year-old man. periorbital lichenification of the skin relief.
Onycholysis, drug-induced or light-induced. detail enlargement: reddish-brown discoloration of the middle finger of the right hand of a 12-year-old girl, existing for 14 days after doxycycline therapy. similar discoloration occurred on all hand and toenails. the nail matrix is lifted off.
Gingivostomatitis herpetica. 3-day-old clinical picture with fever of regional lymphadenitis, painful, grouped, standing, confluent blisters and incrustations on the red of the lips and surrounding area.
Syringome disseminated: detailed view; since several years existing, disseminated, completely asymptomatic, surface smooth, small brownish nodules, which are only perceived as cosmetically disturbing; distribution: face, capillitium, body trunk and scrotum
Molluscum contagiosa: Molluscs in different stages of development; small, shiny, freshly formed papules; molluscs that are still fully developed and encrusted molluscs in regression.
Psoriasis of the nails. lifting of the integrity of the nail plate, instead crumbly nail material. thickening of the nail plate in places as well as splintering in the distal area.
