Clinically, in the sacral region, sharply defined, very firm, partly rubbery, slightly raised above the skin level, cobblestone-like arranged, whitish papules and plaques with smooth surface are found. Localization and clinic are characteristic for the diagnosis. Secondary findings are angiofibromas in the face.

Neurofibromatosis segmentale: circumscribed soft papules and nodes.
