Dermatitis herpetiformis. multiple, chronically active, approx. 0.2 x 0.3 cm in size, asymmetrically arranged, disseminated, flatly elevated, slightly consistency increased, smooth, red, slightly shimmering, very itchy papules in a 63-year-old female patient. gastrointestinal symptoms were negated.

Lupus erythematodes tumidus: long-standing, irregularly distributed, sharply defined, 0.2-3.0 cm large, flatly raised, clearly increased in consistency, slightly sensitive, red, smooth plaques without significant scaling.

Psoriasis inversa: massively infiltrated, sharply defined, red plaques with borky scale deposits.

Tungiasis: Detail enlargement of the previous overview. densely standing, 1-5 mm large, partly roundish, but mostly stripy reddish-livid papules (duct structures; see right in the picture) which almost always show a small encrusted erosion at the edge (entry site of the fleas). In the center of the picture the efflorescences are overlaid by scaling.

Leprosy indeterminata (-I-): Large hypopigmented, only slightly hypaesthetic, little infiltrated plaques without accentuating the edges.

Erythema multiforme: suddenly occurring, itchy, disseminated exanthema with cocard-like plaques, which has been present for a few days; the skin lesions appeared shortly after starting antibiotic therapy for urinary tract infection.

verruca seborrhoica: multiple verrucae seborrhoicae. continuous development since the 4th decade of life. findings: densely standing, 0.2-1.0 cm large, yellowish also brownish flat papules. individual seborrhoeic keratoses itch repeatedly. no clinically detectable inflammatory symptoms.

Pseudomonas folliculitis, detail enlargement: follicularly bound erythematous papules, partly glassy impressive pustules and scratch excoriations.

Drug exanthema, maculo-papular. multiple, acutely occurring, generalized, very itchy, mainly on the trunk and extremities localized, mostly confluent, smooth papules and plaques in a 31-year-old woman. Occurrence after ingestion of acetylsalicylic acid.

Parapsoriasis en plaques Large-heart poikilodermal form (Parakeratosis variegata): large-area, completely asymptomatic, regularly distributed, blurred patches and plaques; no scaling.

Leiomyoma: multiple, chronically stationary, existing since earliest childhood, occurring only at one localization (ubiquitous occurrence only rarely), in this case striped, occasionally (pressure-)painful, brown-red, flat, firm, smooth papules.

Erythrodermic psoriasis: erythrodermia that has existed for several months in previously known psoriasis. universal redness with coarse lamellar scaling. the clinical picture of erythrodermia is not "diagnosis-defining". erythrodermia can occur as a maximal variant of several clinical pictures.

Granuloma pyogenicum (pyogenic granuloma): Close-up: Smooth, shiny surface, eroded in places.
