Scleroderma circumscribed pansclerotic: 12-year-old boy of oriental origin. 3 months ago first appeared, strongly progressive sclerosis, partly ulcerated and covered with blackish necroses. A highly febrile disease of unexplained aetiology lasting more than 3 days preceded the skin symptoms by 14 days.
Bdnar's aphthae: large, very painful flat ulcers in the vestibulum oris covered with fibrin. 77-year-old patient has been suffering from these aphthae continuously for more than 1 year.
Alopecia areata. roundish, centrifugally and medially spreading, smooth, hairless areas with preserved follicles. in the active marginal area hair can be pulled out in tufts. under internal steroid treatment with methylprednisolone for 4 weeks the hair loss stopped and re-growth in places occurred.
scleroderma, circumscribed. generalized CS. blurred, clearly indurred, whitish atrophic plaques without any signs of inflammation, which do not move towards the lower surface. subjectively there is a slight feeling of tension. the trunk of the body is a typical predilection site.
Endocrine orbitopathy: known immunogenic hyperthyroidism (Graves' disease) with distinct exophthalmos, lid edema, chemosis and concomitant pain when moving the eyes.
Xanthogranuloma adultes: 15 x 12 cm, solid, painless, skin-coloured tumour that has been growing slowly for several years; no systemic involvement detectable.
Hamartoma, eccrine, angiomatous. finding in a 12-year-old boy. Since the age of 1 year slowly growing, with distinct pressure (not spontaneously) painful, firm lump with partly smooth, partly verrucous surface. The lateral (scarred) depression was caused by a preliminary biopsy.
Graft-versus-host disease. 3-15 months after transplantation, a reaction due to the transmission of allogenic immunocompetent T-lymphocytes. extensive dermatosclerosis with numerous, bizarre, skin-coloured papules and plaques.
Acne vulgaris (overview): recurrent, multiple, disseminated standing retention cysts of 0.3-1.2 cm size on the back of a 38-year-old mansince adolescence; multiple black comedones (blackheads) are also present.
Cheilitis actinica chronica: two-dimensional, whitish "epidermis" of the red of the lips. on the lower lip the border to the lip skin is blurred. small firmly adherent white-grey keratoses. no significant increase in consistency palpable. Dg.: chronic actinic cheilitis.
Ilven: yellowish striated, sharply defined papules along the blashkolines in a 4-year-old boy; 6 months before occurred with mild itching. therapy: caring externals if necessary.
Fox-Fordyce's disease: 18 years, female: for about 1.5 years axillae bds non-inflammatory papules. relatively symptom-free. anamnesis under steroid cream times been better, after discontinuation recurrence.
