Melanoma, malignant, nodular. Malignant melanoma of the primary nodular type. Over the last few months, surface and thickness growth. "Been wet before." Dark brown-black, smooth-surfaced (like polished) lumps. Arrow-marked satellite metastases shimmering bluish through. Encircling a capillary angioma.
Granuloma eosinophilicum faciei (Granuloma faciale). 6-month-old finding in a 7-year-old child. Slightly raised, moderately coarse, brown-red plaques with dilated follicle ostia. No other complaints. Brown-reddish infiltrate of the patient's own body under glass spatula pressure.
Leishmaniasis, cutaneous, several weeks after a stay of several days in Lebanon, moderately sharply defined, roundish, red lump with central ulcer formation (here crust-covered).
Multiple, 1?2 cm large, painless, coarse, predominantly intradermal nodules on the right hand of a 77-year-old man, arranged in the course of the sensitive finger nerves.
tinea faciei. itchy and moderately painful, livid-reddish, rough, scaly plaque with intact or burst pustules on the surface. on pressure discharge of pus. patient has received 15mg methotrexate p.o. for several years because of polyarthritis. the present finding can also be called granuloma trichophyticum (majocchi).
Acne vulgaris (overview): Detailed view: multiple, disseminated retention cysts of 0.3-1.2 cm size on the back of a 38-year-old man; multiple, single, blackheads and closely arranged bridge comedones.
Condylomata acuminata. multiple, partly solitary, partly disseminated standing, 0.2-0.7 cm large, macerated papules and plaques with a verrucous surface. the findings shown here are after multiple surgical ablation under currently running local therapy with imiquimod.
