angiokeratoma, solitary. for more than 10 years existing, initially flat, in the last months clearly size-progessive and increasingly scaly, livid red, firm nodule in a 32-year-old woman. in case of trauma occasionally spot-like bleeding. increasing painfulness in the last weeks.
Angiokeratoma, solitary. reflected light microscopy: Round, oval or polygonal, partly confluent, dark red lacunae, which are separated from each other by whitish opaque septa (proliferating vascular caverns press papillary connective tissue against the reteleases). In the centre of the lesion whitish, semi-transparent areas (hyperkeratosis and hypergranulosis) are visible. The peripheral areas are covered with keratin plaques.
Angiokeratomas of the glans penis: completely symptomless blue compressible nodules with a slightly verrucous surface, therapy not necessary.
