Vascular malformations: Nevus flammeus (capillary/venous malformation) without soft tissue hypertrophy, no pain symptoms.
Vascular twin naevus (Naevus vascularis mixtus): Combination of a naevus flammeus with a naevus anaemicus. Circles a large overlapping zone. Arrows mark the scattered areas of the naevus anaemicus.
Malformations, vascular. mixed venous/capillary malformation with predominant subcutaneous venous part.
Malformations, vascular: mixedvenous/capillary malformation with a large, subcutaneous venous part; here in a lateral view where the clear protrusion of the neck contour is visible.
Malformations vascular (non-syndromal, mixed, capillary/venous):Congenital vascular malformation, initially only imposing as a red spot, which showed constant thickness growth over the years, clinically asymptomatic (occasional increased bleeding when biting on it).
Malformations, syndromal, vascular. mixed, syndromal, capillary/venous/arterial malformation with arterio-venous anastomoses and reactive hyperplasia of the tissue (Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome).
Malformations, syndromal vascular: Nevus flammeus (capillary malformation, no arterio-venous anastomoses) with soft tissue atrophy and pelvic obliquity, no pain symptoms.
Vascular malformation (venous vascular malformation): soft and compressible venous malformation that has remained unchangedfor years, with a cutaneous and a subcutaneous portion (see figure below).
Vascular malformation (venous vascular malformation): The arrow marks the cutaneous part of the malformation; encircled is the subcutaneous part that shines through.
Malformation, vascular: only cosmetically disturbing venous malformation; different filling states depending on physical exertion.
Angiokeratoma corporis circumscriptum: non-syndromal mixed capillary/venous malformation with verrucous plaques and nodules. First manifestation in early childhood. Continuous growth since then.
Malformation vascular: Clinical picture of Angiokeratoma corporis circumscriptum, a non-syndromal mixed capillary/venous malformation with verrucous plaques and nodules. First manifestation in early childhood. Continuous growth since then.
Malformation vascular (subcutaneous lymphangioma cavernosum):7.0 x 6.0 cm, soft, elastic (sponge-like), skin-coloured swelling in the area of the clavicle and the base of the neck in a 6-year-old girl, which was noticed for thefirst timein the 1st LJ and grew along with the remaining body proportions. No subjective symptoms. In the ultrasound Doppler examination, a low-echo structure, well defined to the base, becomes visible. Flux phenomena are not detectable.
