Graft-versus-Host-Disease, chronic. 56 years old patient with z.n. bone marrow transplantation 2 years ago. since 1 year increasing hardening of the skin. poikilodermatic picture with extensive whitish irritations, reticular hyperpigmentation and bizarre red spots. atrophic (parchment-like) surface epithelium with fine desquamation.
anetodermia. disseminated, 0.3-1.0 cm large, whitish, roundish to oval, completely symptomless "scar-like" foci with atrophically curled skin. in places the HVs also bulge over the skin surface. the HVs have existed for several years and were subjectively perceived as disturbing.
Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus. hourglass phenomenon with classic whitish-porcelain-like skin on perigenital region, labia and in a smaller extent also in the area of the perianal region in a 7-year-old girl. for several weeks genital itching has been present occasionally. the labia have already elapsed in the lower parts. currently no rhagades are visible. long patient career despite childhood age.
Pityriasis rosea in dark skin. A few weeks old, slightly itchy, bran-like scaly exanthema in a young Ethiopian patient. Noticeable is the accentuated brighter border of the plaques.
Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus. multiple, chronically dynamic (growth since 1 year), 0.2-1.0 cm large, white, smooth, asymmetrical indurations confluent in places, no further infestation.
verrucae plantares. sole of the foot in a 13-year-old competitive swimmer. painfulness during walking. lesions increasing since about 3 years. findings: aggregation, numerous, up to 2-4 mm large, clearly indurated horn crater with a slightly raised lateral horn wall (see left part of the picture). rough surface with whitish scaling. in some lesions approximately pinhead-sized, dark spot hemorrhages; see left part of the picture below.
Nevus, melanocytic, halo-nevus. multiple, chronically stationary, disseminated halo-nevi on the back of a 47-year-old man. the original melanocytic nevi but only shadowy recognizable.
Alopecia marginalis. detail enlargement: Since 6 months persistent, progressive hair loss at the traction points for fixation of composite parts of a hair replacement woven in for 8 years in a 37-year-old female patient. In the picture a skin-coloured scar plate is centrally impressing.
Lupus erythematodes chronicus discoides: CDLE leading to significant scarring. atrophy of the skin, easily recognizable by the hair loss. in the cheek area extensive, in places deeply sunken (atrophy of the subcutaneous fatty tissue) scar with low inflammatory activity.
