Lichen planus. chronically active, multiple, disseminated or confluent, increasing, first appearing about 6 months ago, mainly localized at the outer edge and back of the foot, 0.3-0.6 cm large, itchy, red, smooth, shiny papules in a 46-year-old woman. Furthermore, a whitish, reticular pattern of the buccal mucosa of the mouth was visible.
Melanoma, malignant: diffuse, cutaneous metastasis (amelanotic metases) in the area of the thoracic wall; primary tumor: nodular melanoma pT3a; post-operative 2 years ago.
Syphilis: papular syphilide of the palms. loosely distributed reddish-brownish, scaly, symptomless papules on both palms. these changes are a section of a generalized papular exanthema.
Acne vulgaris (overview): recurrent, multiple, disseminated standing retention cysts of 0.3-1.2 cm size on the back of a 38-year-old mansince adolescence; multiple black comedones (blackheads) are also present.
Lichtermatosis polymorphic: Occurrence of clinical symptoms a few hours to days after (single and first-time) intensive sun exposure with itching and burning, disseminated papules and papulo-pustules also papulo-vesicles.
Angioma, senile. 55 years old female patient, in whom this finding has existed for two years. Size progressive, soft, spongy, flat raised, 0.8 x 0.6 cm large lump with a fielded surface.
Candidosis intertriginous: 22-year-old slightly obese woman with signs of an atopic dermatitis (neurodermatitis); disseminated itchy papules with a small whitish scaly ruffle; inguinal bds. and mons pubis.
Scabies: Survey image: Genital region of a 55-year-old patient with generalized eczematized scabies; severely itching (especially at night), disseminated, pinhead- to lenticular-sized, centrally eroded papules, especially on the glans penis.
eczema atopic in dark skin): here as partial manifestation of a generalized intrinsic atopic eczema. chronic brown-grey, blurred lichenoid plaques. distinct itching.
Bowenoid papulosis. 3 x 3 cm area with a verrucous, skin-coloured, central whitish keratotic-derbal nodule localised in SSL perianal at 12 and 1 o'clock. Multiple skin-coloured tumours in the perianal circumference. Two lenticular, dark brown, flat raised plaques, each 0.6 cm in size, with a smooth surface, appear on the left perineum. On the right labia majora there is a brownish-red, slightly infiltrated plaque with a smooth surface. The finding occurred in a 41-year-old woman who had been infected with HIV for 20 years (AIDS full picture stage C3).
Syphilis acquisita. papular syphilide: In the 42-year-old HIV-positive male, erythematous papules are present in the area of the glans penis and the inner preputial leaf. Similar skin lesions are found on the whole integument as well as on Palmae and Plantae. 8 weeks before, a painless ulcer with indurated wall had formed on the glans, which healed without therapy.
drug reaction, lymphocytes: multiple, non-symptomatic, surface-smooth papules and plaques. occurred several months after cardiological readjustment. patient otherwise healthy. no evidence of lymphatic systemic disease. no other drugs. histological: nodular, mature lymphocytic tissue. no lymph follicles.
