facial granuloma: red lump, existing for 5 years now, slowly progressing in size and limited in size. small secondary plaques in the surrounding area. histological findings characterized by increasing fibrosis. findings 2 years later (see initial findings in fig., before). treatment with fast electrons. after that clear regression. no further progression. note smooth surface relief. no follicle drawing.
Bowenoid papulosis. 3 x 3 cm area with a verrucous, skin-coloured, central whitish keratotic-derbal nodule localised in SSL perianal at 12 and 1 o'clock. Multiple skin-coloured tumours in the perianal circumference. Two lenticular, dark brown, flat raised plaques, each 0.6 cm in size, with a smooth surface, appear on the left perineum. On the right labia majora there is a brownish-red, slightly infiltrated plaque with a smooth surface. The finding occurred in a 41-year-old woman who had been infected with HIV for 20 years (AIDS full picture stage C3).
angiokeratoma, solitary. for more than 10 years existing, initially flat, in the last months clearly size-progessive and increasingly scaly, livid red, firm nodule in a 32-year-old woman. in case of trauma occasionally spot-like bleeding. increasing painfulness in the last weeks.
Complicative basal cell carcinoma with complete destruction of the auricle and the external auditory canal. Here, it is impressive as a crater-shaped ulcer. Typical is the raised, shiny rim.
Lymphoma, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, large-cell, CD30-positive. general view: Multiple, chronically dynamic, increasing, non-displacing, confluent, covering a total area of 6 x 6 cm, hemispherical nodules with hard, central, red part and deep, crater-shaped ulceration in a 64-year-old patient.
Bowen's disease with transition to Bowen's carcinoma: solitary, size-progressive plaque that has been present for several years, occasionally accompanied by itching, sharply and arc-shaped, border-emphasized plaque with increasing verrucous nodular formation (see following figure).
Pilomatrixoma: Reddish-brown, calotte-shaped, painful lump, which is movable in relation to the underlying surface and has been slowly progressive for 2 years.
