Gingivostomatitis, chronic. chronic dynamic, variable, 1.4 cm large, dolent, bizarrely configured ulcer in a 64-year-old female patient with Huntington's disease. development due to ulcerative inflammation at the left lateral edge of the tongue. massive plaque accumulation and sharp-edged incisal and occlusal surfaces have promoted the inflammatory process.
Gingivostomatitis herpetica: Groups of standing aphthous changes in the area of the lower lip and tongue in the context of gingivostomatitis herpetica in adults.
Glossitis rhombica mediana: Chronic inpatient, painless, slightly raised, sharply defined, red lump in the middle of the back of the tongue in a 50-year-old patient, existing since birth.
Hair leukoplakia orale. "Classic finding" with flat white plaques in the area of the lateral edge of the tongue in HIV-infected persons. The surface of the tongue is also "leukoplaked".
Oral hairy leukoplakia. flat white yellowish coating on the tongue; flat leukoplakia on the lateral parts of the tongue with simultaneous yellowish "hairy" coating on the tongue (see hairy tongue below).
Oral hairy leukoplakia: Flat, white-yellowish, verrucous coating of the tongue with deep erosive, longitudinal fissures in the area of the central part of the tongue. Previously known HIV infection with Kaposi sarcoma.
hairy tongue, black. brownish, yellowish-green or dirty greyish, sharply defined, warty, rough plaques of the tongue surface, especially localized in the middle and posterior third of the tongue back. clearly elongated papillae filiformes. shown here are changes in a cigarette smoker after long-term therapy with broad-spectrum antibiotics and regular nicotine abuse.
Hairy tongue, black. filamentous, brown-black, hyperkeratotic, hypertrophic Papillae filiformes in the area of the back and middle areas of the tongue.
Hyalinosis cutis et mucosae, detailed picture: protruding papillae of the tongue, which are aggregated in the posterior part of the tongue to form verrucous beds.
Hyperplasia, focal epithelial. In the 34-year-old Turkish patient, several flat papules have been present in the area of the mucosal side of the lower and upper lip for about 6 months. Histologically, the picture of a benign acanthoma with features of viral genesis was shown. HPV-13 was detected in the HPV typing.
Carcinoma of the mucous membrane: chronic inpatient, existing for 2-3 years, localized at the alveolar process in the region of the mandibular front and canine teeth, 2.5 cm large, painless, very firm, ulcerated, rough lump.
Carcinoma of the mucous membrane: centrally ulcerated, painless, slow-growing, rough, hard lump, which apart from the raised edge zones is impressive as an ulcer.
Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin: chronically stationary (imperceptible growth) for 2 years, 1.5 cm large, painless, very firm ulcer with smooth edges on the underside of the tongue.
Leukoplakia, oral: chronically inpatient (duration unclear), 1.5 x 3.0 cm in size, painless, slightly increased in consistency, white plaque, slightly sour, cannot be wiped off with a spatula. nicotine abuse for 25 years.
Lichen planus erosivus mucosae. painful gingivitis existing for more than one year in cases of currently unsuccessful therapies by the dentist. overall progressive course. chronically stationary, extensive, border-like, painful erythema and erosions as well as extensive whitish plaques are visible.
