Basal cell carcinoma, nodular, 72-year-old female patient, solitary, chronically dynamic, continuously growing for 2 years, measuring 1.0 x 0.8 cm, indolent, firm, skin-colored, covered with telangiectasia, coarse nodule with a bulging surface.
Dyskeratosis follicularis: Large, hyperkeratotic zones existing since early childhood with reddish, partly macerated papules and firmly adhering, partly eroded, confluent keratoses on the capillitium of a 74-year-old woman.
Dermal melanocytic nevus: melanocyticnevus known since earliest childhood, initially dark brown, slightly raised, skin-coloured in the past decades. completely unchanged for several years. 0.9 x 0.9 cm diameter, moderately firm, sharply defined, calotte-shaped skin-coloured papules. 78-year-old patient.
Granuloma anulare subcutaneum. multiple chronically stationary, firm, symptomless, subcutaneously located nodes. persistent for several years. resistant to therapy.
Dermatosis, acute febrile neutrophils. following high fever on the back of a 52-year-old man, acutely occurring multiple, reddish-livid, succulent, pressure-dolent, infiltrated papules confluent to nodules and plaques. overall generalized picture with emphasis on extremities and trunk.
Pityriasis lichenoides chronica: 19-year-old, otherwise healthy patient with a papular exanthema on the trunk which has been present for 1 year and runs intermittently. Hardly any itching. No other symptoms.
Collagenosis, reactive perforating. 12-month-old female patient: Red, solitary, partly confluent, itchy, coarse papules with hyperkeratotic clot on the right lower leg of an 80-year-old female patient.
Granuloma anulare subcutaneum. 3 years of continuously multiplying, multiple, mostly aggregated, little painful (only slight painfulness under strong pressure), predominantly reddish, sometimes skin-coloured, dermal and subcutaneously located, smooth papules and nodules, which led to restriction of movement in the middle finger.
Lichen planus (classic type): itchy, polygonal, partially confluent, brownish-reddish papules on the right hand and right wrist of a 40-year-old man, existing for 8 weeks; independent of LP, strong, palmar hyperkeratoses exist, the development of which can be ascribed to the professional activity as floor layer.
Eczema atopic: severe, generalized, severely itchy atopic eczema existing since earliest childhood with disseminated, eroded and ulcerated (scratched) reddish papules and plaques; the "dryness of the integument" with keratosis pilaris-like accentuation of the follicles is clearly visible.
