Dermatitis, chronic actinic. detail enlargement: Disseminated, scratched papules and nodules as well as blurred, large-area, reddened, severely itching erythema in the face of a 51-year-old female patient with atopic eczema existing since birth.
Lupus erythematosus, subacute-cutaneous multiple, small spots to flat, sharply defined, anular and flat, partly slightly scaly erythema in the face of a 54-year-old woman with Ro-positive subacute-cutaneous lupus erythematosus.
Sarcoidosis plaque form: solitary plaque that has existed for about 1 year and has grown continuously up to now, without any symptoms, fine-lamellar scaly brown-reddish plaque.
Airborne Contact Dermatitis: chronic (>6 weeks) extensive, enormously itchy and burning eczema with irregular, extensive infestation of the exposed facial areas including the eyelids.
Verruca seborrhoica. soft, raised, grey-brown to black papules and plaques with a fissured, warty surface, interspersed with black horn stoppers. variable size, from a few mm to about 1.2 cm in diameter. disseminated appearance.
Dermatitis, seborrhoeic: chronically recurrent disease with constant, blurred, sometimes slightly itchy, red spots and plaques; distinctly bds. eyelid eczema
Erysipelas acute: acutely occurring, for 4 days, increasing, smooth, planar, sharply defined, pillow-like raised, flaming red swelling of the cheeks and the left eye in a 56-year-old man; marked impairment of the general condition with sensation of heat in the cheeks.
keratosis pilaris syndrome. keratosis pilaris syndrome with ulerythema ophryogenes. small, follicularly bounded hyperkeratoses in the area of the lateral eyebrows, the forehead-hairline and in the cheek area. erythema in the area of the eyebrows with hair loss and without scaling. sometimes slight itching.
Tinea faciei. multiple, chronically active, since 4 weeks flatly growing, disseminated, 0.5-3.0 cm large, blurred, itchy, red, rough (scaling) papules and plaques as well as few yellowish crusts
Lichen planus actinicus: anularsmaller lesions and merged into larger map-like borderline plaques; in the prominent borderline area the violet shade of lichen "ruber" is found.
Dermatitis chronic actinic: Severe extensive, permanently itchy eczema reaction of the entire face with intensification of the eyelid regions. improvement in the winter months. recurrence with low UV irradiation.
Granuloma eosinophilicum faciei (Granuloma faciale). approx. 0.8 cm in diameter, solitary, slow-growing, slightly raised, moderately coarse, red node. characteristic is the strawberry-like surface. diascopic: yellow-brownish self-infiltrate. no subjective complaints, no accompanying internal symptoms.
