Boils. 38-year-old patient with recurrent boils. 2.5 x 2.0 cm large, spontaneously formed, pressure-marked, flat raised lump with yellow necrotic tip and scaly crown.
Lip furuncle. acutely appeared, increasing, inflammatory, fluctuating, localized on the upper lip, swollen, painful, red lump. 2 days of elevated temperature and leukocytosis are secondary findings.
Differential diagnosis boils: Diagnosis: Leishmaniasis, cutaneous (oriental boil). solitary, about 10 weeks old, slowly progressing in size, moderately pressure tolerated, red, rough lump with central ulceration. Medical history: Previous stay in Syria. No systemic complaints.
Furunculosis: recurrent furuncle formation in a 66 year old female patient with diabetes mellitus.
