Lingua plicata in Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome
Lingua plicata: pronounced longitudinal and transversal furrow of the tongue surface, especially in the area of the middle third of the tongue. The depicted finding shows the partial manifestation of a lichen planus exanthematicus. Changes of the lichen palnus are mainly visible at the tip of the tongue, the edges of the tongue and the corners of the mouth.
Lingua plicata with pronounced exfoliatio areata linguae (not infrequently occurring comorbidity ).
