Definition
Tensid- und Reinigungsmittel, häufig verwendeter Schaumverstärker. Cocamidopropyl Betaine ist häufig Bestandteil in den Haarconditionern. Weiterhin hat es milde antiseptische Qualitäten; es wird verwendet in Augen-make-up-Entfernern (mögliche Ursache von kontakllergischen Ekzem der Lider - s.u. Lidekzem)
