Cutis rhomboidalis nuchae. overlapping wrinkles in the neck in massive elastosis actinica in a 73-year-old patient employed in agriculture. The clinical picture is pathognomonic.
Aplasia cutis congenita. a sharply defined, whitish-yellowish, shallowly sunken, hairless area with atrophic, parchment-like skin surface, existing since birth. on incident light microscopy any follicular structures are missing.
Leprosy lepromatosa: Stiffening ofthe fingers in a claw-like position; closure of the fist no longer possible; encircling the clinically conspicuous atrophy of the interosseous musculature (m. interosseus dorsalis I).
Keratoma sulcatum: 33-year-old man with habitually very sweaty feet + occupational safety shoes as a trigger; the keratolyses, which appear as if punched out, are clearly visible on the 2nd toe.
Acne conglobata. multiple comedones in the area of the back of a 53-year-old patient with A. conglobata since the age of 14. no papules or pustules. irregular skin surface with pronounced scarring. coin-sized, deep scar (almost central in the picture) after incision of an abscess.
Atrophy.striae cutis distensae.53-year-old patient who has been treated externally and internally with glucocorticoids for one year. striae cutis distensae without subjective symptoms. 2-3 mm wide flat atrophic lesions running in transverse direction to the skin tension with a parchment-like surface. the red tone is caused by the rupture of the connective tissue and atrophy of the surface so that vessels can shine through.
Striae cutis distensae. reddish (Striae rubrae), reddish (Striae rubrae), differently long and wide, jagged, parallel running, atrophic stripes with slightly sunken and thinned, transversely folded skin in a young man who showed rapid length growth in the last months.
Bdnar's aphthae: large, very painful flat ulcers in the vestibulum oris covered with fibrin. 77-year-old patient has been suffering from these aphthae continuously for more than 1 year.
Aplasia cutis congenita. detail magnification: Classically specular, slightly sunken, light yellow macula with smooth surface. in the marginal area, in the lower left picture, a smaller area with tufted hairs is visible.
Cutis rhomboidalis nuchae. coarse-meshed, bulging wrinkles in the neck with massive actinic elastosis. conspicuous follicular prominence with increased retention of the follicular keratin (preliminary stage to the finding in Favre-Racouchaud's disease).
