Lymphoma, cutaneous B-cell lymphoma. 8 months of slow growth, livid-red, flat, coarse nodule with a smooth surface. Follicular structures are only detectable at the edge of the nodule. 71-year-old patient.
eczema, photoallergic. 51-year-old female patient. generalized skin disease with 0.2-0.4 cm large, red, slightly scaly papules (see lower margin of the picture), which have merged into flat plaques on the exposed skin areas. sudden spread. appearance within a few weeks after infection, intake of antibiotics as well as later exposure to sunlight.
scabies. severely itching, disseminated, pinhead to lentil-sized, centrally eroded papules on the trunk and extremities. granulomas appear periumbilical and inguinal.
Stevens-Johnson syndrome: acutely occurring, extensive, painful erosions of the red of the lips, the mucous membrane of the lips and the tongue in a 22-year-old man.
Multiple keratoakanthomas: multiple, reddish-brown, firm papules, up to 1,0 cm in size, with the characteristic picture of a keratoakanthoma (central corneal plug with surrounding epithelial lip formation); distinct itching.
Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome (monsymptomatic form; here Blepharitis granulomatosa): initially recurrent, now permanent swelling of the left upper lid; no lingua plicata; no neurological symptoms.
Pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta: acutely occurring "colorful" exanthema with differently sized papules measuring 0.2-0.8 cm, erosions, and encrusted ulcers.
Skin metastases: multiple, sometimes ulcerated, coarse, skin-coloured and red papules and nodules in the groin and scrotum in metastatic anal carcinoma.
Lymphedema, type Nonne-Milroy. detailed enlargement of the left foot: edematous swelling of the back of the toes with transverse skin folds over the metatarsophalangeal joints (positive Malleus sign).
