Transitory acantholytic dermatosis. 6-8 weeks of slowly progressive moderately pruritic, truncal exanthema in a 53-year-old man. Red, 2-5 mm large, flat papules confluent at the sternum to plaques of about 3 cm diameter.

Chilblain-Lupus: flat and bizarre livedo-like, blue-reddish and red discoloration of the toes.

Tinea corporis. large, reddish-brownish, bordering flocks in the area of the back, fine-lamellar scaling, moderate itching (existing since 8 months).

Prurigo simplex subacuta: unusually extensive clinical picture with papules of different sizes, always centrally excoriated in a 51-year-old type I diabetic. severe, always punctual, prickly itching. ?spooning? of the lesion with the fingernail and then sudden cessation of the itching. involvement of the upper arm extensor sides, upper back, thigh extensor sides, chest region and face.

Balanoposthitis plasmacellularis, monocntric, therapy-resistant, little itching and burning, sharply defined, lacquer-like glossy redness and erosion. 67-year-old patient.

Spider veins, small to medium calibre vascular ectasia in the area of the hollow of the knee.

Angiodysplasia. 44-year-old female patient. Monoorganic, solitary, vascular malformation with very low tendency of growth for about 3-4 years. Blurred, reddish-livid, soft swelling as a consequence of a vascular proliferation limited to the dysplasia area. Bizarrely configured vascular dilatations in the vicinity of the soft tissue swelling.

Rhagade: chronic thumb-tip ragade in atopic hand eczema.

REM syndrome: Mucinosis of the skin positioned in a typical localization with partly flat and partly reticular red plaques; no itching.

Pyoderma gangraenosum. chronic dynamic, laminar, marginally progressive, flat ulceration with highly painful marginal zone and livid rim in a 71-year-old patient with plasmocytoma. extension to the depth beyond the fascia. postinflammatory hyper- and hypopigmentation, scarred healings and erythema are also present.

Dermatitis herpetiformis. disseminated, mostly eroded papules (vesicles not detectable here!) on the elbow and the extensor side of the forearm. recurrent course for months with tormenting, prickly itching.

Lichtermatosis polymorphic: Occurrence of clinical symptoms a few hours to days after (single and first-time) intensive sun exposure with itching and burning, disseminated papules and papulo-pustules also papulo-vesicles.

Varicella: generalized papulo-vesicular exanthema with infestation of the oral mucosa; typical is the infestation of the hard palate, here marked by arrows.
