Psoriasis capitis: chronic, months-old, moderately sharply defined, symptom-free, whitish (scaly deposits), rough plaque with coarse surface scaling, located on the forehead and in the hairy area of the head.
herpes simplex virus infection. typical clinical finding of genital herpes simplex. in a 30-year-old patient grouped standing erosions in the area of the inner preputial leaf. burning pain. previously there were small, tightly stretched blisters instead of the erosions. several times before the patient suffered from similar skin changes.
Contact dermatitis allergic: acute, itchy, relatively sharply defined, photoallergic (contact) dermatitis with pillow-like infiltrated, partly sharply defined, in the lateral cheek area also blurredly defined red plaques. multiple, partly solitary, partly confluent vesicles on cheeks, nose and forehead. 27-year-old female patient after application of a sunblock.
parapsoriasis en petites plaques. disseminated in the skin tension lines of the skin aligned, elongated, symptomless plaques (tiger pattern). significant improvement in the summer months.
Balanoposthitis plasmacellularis: Survey picture: For 2 years (!) persistent, burning and itching redness and erosions of the glans penis and prepuce in a 60-year-old patient.
Lymphoma, cutaneous NK/T-cell lymphoma. overview image: Extranasal NK/T-cell lymphoma: Non-specific image with indolent, red, livid and brown-red papules and nodes on the back of a 62-year-old patient.
Eczema atopic (overview): severe atopic eczema existing for years, mainly flexural in adolescence, generalized for 2 years now. massive constant itching, intensified after sweating. numerous scratch marks.
Basal cell carcinoma, superficial. for at least 4 years persistent, size constant, sharply defined, clearly border-emphasized plaque on the back of a 55-year-old patient. This is a partially regressive multicenter superficial basal cell carcinoma.
Keratosis palmoplantaris papulosa seu maculosa: Multiple verruciform horn cones persisting since early childhood and partly funnel-shaped defects at the foot of a 52-year-old woman.
Systemic lupus erythematosus: flat, localized, moderately sharply defined, symmetrical, moderately consistent, non-scaling red plaques; conspicuous protrusion of the follicles (see arrow and inlet)
Hidradenitis suppurativa. development of eminently chronic, abscessed fistula ducts with inverse pattern of infection, especially on the perineum, scrotum, scrotal root, perianal region, pubic region, inner and outer sides of the thigh. Axilla, upper arm and chest region were also affected. Characteristic is the development of hypertrophic scars and contractures.
primary diffuse diffuse large cell B-cell lymphoma leg type: for about2 years papules and nodules on the left leg of a 55 years old woman appearing in relapses. in the last weeks rapid growth of the pre-existing nodules and eruptive appearance of new nodules. initially no symptoms. since 2 months increasing tendency to dry and also weeping surface scaling. in places complete decay of the nodules.
