Kaposi's sarcoma (endemic). detailed view of the endemic Kaposi's sarcoma with presentation of the flat-elevated hyperpigmented plaque. new foci seem to form in the marginal area. occurrence in the context of immunosuppression in known B-cell lymphoma.
Keratosis palmoplantaris diffusa circumscripta: Thick, waxy, yellowish, plate-like corneal layer, which is sharply separated from the field skin by a red stripe; in the lower right part of the picture the waxy corneal plate had detached a few days ago.
Acanthosis nigricans benigna: Mostly symmetrical blackish-brown hyperpigmentations with velvety, partly also verrucous plaques. Blurred demarcation to the surroundings. No detectable underlying disease.
Hidradenitis suppurativa: an extensive finding that has existed for many years and is still progressive, with extensive scarring, papules, pustules and nodules.
Eczema atopic: Skin lesions in a 22-year-old woman with generalized atopic eczema. In the area of the joint bends accentuated, blurred, extensive, grey-brown, itchy plaques. Skin field coarsened (lichenification).
Basal cell carcinoma superficial: slowly growing, symptomless red plaque with a slightly marginalized structure and central crustal formations that has existed for several years.
Toxic epidermal necrolysis. detailed picture: The 67-year-old female patient developed multiple, acute, disseminated, sharply demarcated, partly confluent, soft, skin-coloured blisters on a flat erythema on the entire integument within a few days. In case of persistent fever, antibiotic therapy was initiated.
