Dermatitis, phototoxic: chronic dermatitis with fine to coarse lamellar desquamation of the skin and brown pigmentation, in this case after prolonged use of a cosmetic. Normal sun exposure.
Granuloma faciale: Red-brown, blurred and irregularly configured, symptomless plaque in a 52-year-old man. Clearly pronounced follicle accentuation. No known secondary diseases, no medication anmnesia. The finding has existed for several months and is slowly progressive. Detailed picture of multiple plaques in the face.
Dermatitis contact allergic: Acute, itching, relatively sharply defined, photoallergic (contact) eczema with red plaques infiltrated like pillows, partly sharply defined, in the lateral cheek area also blurredly defined. Multiple, partly solitary, partly confluent vesicles on cheeks, nose and forehead. 27-year-old female patient after application of a sunblock.
Leishmaniasis, cutaneous. solitary, chronically inpatient, no longer increasing, existing for about 18 months, approx. 3.0 x 3.0 cm, whitish, skin-coloured to brown scar localized on the right cheek. atrophic surface, folded. stay in endemic area (Africa) before first appearance.
Atrophodermia vermiculata: 10-year-old girl with symmetrically appearing, smallest, reticulated follicular scars on both sides as well as some dilated follicular keratoses (see following figure); pronounced keratosis pilaris (rubra) on the extensor sides of the extremities and on the buttocks.
