nevus lipomatodes cutaneus superficialis. solitary, sponge-like soft, to the side well delimitable, broad-based, lobed, nodular elevation above an old scar after partial excision on the flank of a 25-year-old man. the lesion already existed at birth, appeared slowly during the first years of life and has a clearly elevated character since puberty. an area growth occurred only due to the increasing body growth. 5 years ago first surgery of about 2/3 of the lesion.
actinomycosis (abdominal form). progressive fistulizing clinical picture in a 50-year-old patient since several years. the left half of the buttocks was infiltrated in a flat, board-like manner. no significant pain. besides blue-red coarse scarring, granulation tissue and fistulas with exudate (buttock center, Rima ani) are impressive.
22-year-old ethiopian woman who suffered injuries to the lower auricle and the earlobe due to tribal rituals. the painless giant keloid developed over a period of several years. no pre-treatment. no further treatment desired.
Lentigo maligna with transition to a lentigo maligna melanoma: bizarrely configured brown spot with palpable induration in the distal part (darker colored).
Type I leprosy reaction "upgrading reaction": in a patient with Boderline lepromatous leprosy, characterized by an inflammatory flare-up of facial plaques.
Erythema gyratum repens: Detail of the rim area of the ring structure. clearly palpable (like a wet wool thread) rim area with raised, inwardly directed ruffle. striking "multizonality" with a second only discretely visible inner ring formation.
dermatitis, phototoxic. stage of healing. solitary, acute, localised, linear, about 30 cm long, sharply defined, initially itchy, now symptom-free, rough, slightly scaly, red plaque. appears after contact with a reed plant when bathing at the lake.
Syringome disseminated: 78-year-old male patient. the brownish-red subjectively completely asymptomatic papules; they would have existed "forever". spreading flat only on the right forearm on the inside. the diagnosis was confirmed bioptically.
Melanoma, malignant, acrolentiginous. 2 x 3 cm diameter, red, flat, slightly putrid ulceration on the right big toe of a 73-year-old woman. At the lateral border of the ulcer there are shadowy pigment remains (circled and marked with arrows) in intact skin. In addition, palpation of the peripheral venous leg stations on the right inguinal side shows several enlarged venous leg ulcers (DD: reactive enlargement?).
