Acropathia ulcero-mutilans familiaris. large, completely areactive ulcer (at pressure point) extending to the heel bone. the 40-year-old patient has been suffering from peripheral polyneuropathy for more than 10 years with sensory disturbances for pain, temperature and touch. babinski sign is positive!

Amalgam tattoo. chronic inpatient blue-black stain on the alveolar process mucosa at the level of the apex of the right lateral incisor, existing since 2 years. on the basis of the radiological examination evidence of a root tip resection and retrograde root filling of the tooth with amalgam.
Angiosarcoma of the head and facial skin: the 69-year-old patient noticed this rapidly growing and recurrently bleeding 3x5 cm large, little symptomatic node around the capillitium for 6 months. After incomplete preliminary surgery within a few weeks formation of the present recurrent node. The inconspicuous erythema around the node is noticeable. After the micrographically controlled surgery, the tumor was only free of tumor after an approximately 10 x 10 cm large excision.
arteriitis temporalis. suddenly appeared, bizarrely configured, only moderately painful, large ulcerations covered with black crusts. prominent and on palpation strand-like indurated A. temporalis (right side). neither right nor left side positive flow signal over the temporal arteries.
Black heel. asymptomatic, self-limited, trauma-induced bleeding into the skin in the heel area, which impressed as a black spot for many weeks. this finding could be completely eliminated by flat ablation of the horny layer with a scalpel (proving an old hematoma).
Elastoidosis cutanea nodularis et cystica. multiple, chronic inpatient, bds. periorbital localized, 0.2-0.4 cm large, blurred, soft, symptomless, black papules (comedones) and yellow papules (nodular elastosis). occurs in a 65-year-old man with chronic UV exposure over decades.
Thrombangiitis obliterans. 46-year-old patient with severe nicotine abuse lasting for decades and acrocynosis existing since 6 months (even more severe in cooler surroundings) as well as mummified toe tip necroses with osteolysis.
Thrombangiitis obliterans. 32-year-old patient with years of nicotine abuse and patchy palmar erythema (more pronounced in cool surroundings) and mummified fingertip necroses that have been present for 6 months.
