Lichen simplex chronicus. approx. 3 x 5 cm large, itchy plaque with rough surface on the ventro-medial right lower leg of a 14-year-old female patient. In the surrounding area distinct scratch artefacts and also follicularly bound papules. In case of stress worsening; during stays at sea improvement of the findings.

erythema exsudativum multiforme. suddenly appeared, since 4 days existing, itchy, disseminated exanthema with cocard-like plaques. the skin changes appeared shortly after the beginning of antibiotic therapy for urinary tract infection. here the finding on the back of the hand. s. isomorphism (koebner phenomenon).

Pemphigoid gestationis: Large, partly sharply defined and partly blurred, bright red plaques with central flat blisters.

eczema, contact eczema, allergic. 53 years old, still working bricklayer. chronic eczema with disseminated red, partly skin-coloured papules, which in places have confluated to blurred, lichenified plaques. furthermore discrete, laminar, fine-lamellar scaling as well as multiple partly encrusted erosions. distinct itching. proven chromate sensitisation

Granuloma anulare disseminatum: Partial manifestation on the back of the right hand. Non-painful, non-itching, disseminated, extensive plaques that appeared on the trunk and extremities of a 65-year-old patient. No diabetes mellitus. No other systemic diseases known.

Keloid formation in artificial scars (artefacts).

Nevus, melanocytic, congenital. congenital, initially flat, later clearly raised, sharply defined, round, soft, brown plaque with slightly roughened surface.

Candida granuloma: Recurrence at the forearm extensor side in a 28-year-old patient 1 year after complete regression of the granulomas under antifungal systemic therapy.

Melanosis neurocutanea, detailed picture with numerous congenital "oversized" melanocytic nevi.

Myxomed skin: Completely smypotless, soft skin-coloured papules and nodules of the skin, which have been increasing for years, no systemic involvement.

Dermatomyositis (overview): Striped arrangement of red papules and plaques, which confluent to flat areas in the area of the end phalanges; strongly pronounced nail fold capillaries.

Lichen simplex chronicus indark skin. 0.1-0.2 cm large, marginally disseminated, firm brown-black (red shade is missing) papules which confluent in the centre of the lesion to form a flat, lichenoid shiny plaque.

Psoriasis vulgaris. untreated psoriasis vulgaris of the plaque type. peripheral erythema. crusty, transverse rhagades.

Lichen planus exanthematicus: small papular lichen planus, aggregation of the efflorescences to larger plaques.

Eczema, hand eczema atopic.

Atopic eczema with emphasis on flexion: Skin lesions in a 16-year-old girl with intermittent course since the age of 4 years. pollinosis (hazelnut, birch) known. in the region of the large joint bends accentuated, blurred, large-area, reddened, severely itching plaques. skin field coarsened (lichenification). longitudinal, stripy erosions (scratch marks) as well as linear erosions running in the flexural folds. classic finding of flexural eczema.

Multiple mastocytoma: disseminated, flat brownish reddish, itchy, smooth patches and plaques on the right foot or lower leg of a 4-month-old boy; the intact surface pattern of the field skin over the lesioned skin is shown in the inlet.

Psoriasis guttata: de novo occurred, 0.1-2.0 cm large, reddish, rough papules and plaques with fine-lamellar scaling in a 26-year-old woman, preceded by a feverish flu-like infection.

Dermatomyositis: Flat red plaques on the end phalanges. Hyperkeratotic nail folds
