Definition:
Procedure in rehabilitative medicine that is suitable for stabilizing the success of inpatient rehabilitative therapy in the long term. In order to achieve this goal, the various social security institutions (DRV, DGUV, etc.) offer outpatient aftercare measures for a further 6-12 months.
The most important for dermatology are (at the German Pension Insurance (DRV/under the prerequisite of a "positive employment prognosis):
Digital rehabilitation aftercare: DRV also offers digital services for all 3 areas mentioned above!
Aftercare for children and adolescents: stabilization of behavioural and lifestyle changes, sustainable transfer to school/training.
Rehabilitation sports and functional training: over 6 months of dry gymnastics or water gymnastics in a group
Offers from the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV in association with the employers' liability insurance associations): As part of a TIP (= tertiary individual prevention measure, so-called Osnabrück model), the risk of developing/worsening an occupational skin disease can be counteracted with "all suitable means" as part of a dermatologist's procedure (§ 3 BKV) together with the "DGUV rehabilitation manager" (so-called occupational helper).
