Histologically controlled surgical technique to ensure removal of the tumour in sano, e.g. in basal cell carcinoma or dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans. The removed tumour is segmented and a sketch is made for topographic orientation. The corresponding segments are carefully searched histologically for existing tumor nests (frozen section).
