hemangioma, microvenous. blurred nest- and strand-like tumour formations penetrating the middle dermis. bizarre, partially communicating vascular formations occur in the outer parts of the tumour. the superimposed epidermis is inconspicuous. centrally conspicuously compressed connective tissue. the surface epithelium is inconspicuous.
Hemangioma, microvenous. Anastomosing pericyte-rich venules and a dense collagenous stroma. Solid tumor parts are visible around the follicle on the left. Bizarrely branched pericyte-rich venules are also visible. Endothelia are flat. No cell atypia. Smooth muscle actin stain.
