Hydrophilic, non-ionic betamethasone valerate lotio of type O/W (containing cortisone) for external use. Apply a thin layer initially 2 times/day, then 1 time / day to the diseased skin areas.

Period of use: 6 months

Remark: Betamethasone valerate tends to isomerize in strongly acidic and alkaline environments (Wolf G 2014). The molecule loses about 85% of its effect. Therefore, NRF 11.47. as well as the hydrophilic cream of betamethasone valerate (NRF 11.37.) provides for the addition of a citrate buffer (pH 4.2).
