For years increasing discoloration and hardening of the distal US third. Extensive hyperpigmentation of the skin with coarse increase in consistency. Flat scaly crusts in the center of the skin change. Small fatty tissue proliferations (piezo nodules) on the heel.

Dermatoliposclerosis in a known chronic venous insufficiency with superimposed erysipelas, which is indicated by the finger-shaped extensions which protrude at the right margin of the picture (lymphangitic spread).

Dermatoliposclerosis. dermatosclerosis in CVI with slight acanthosis and orthokeratotic keratinization. the capillaries of the reticular dermis are dilated and increased. frequent dermal erythrocyte extravasations. in the upper right picture section a cut sweat gland duct is visible. the reticular dermis shows surface-parallelized collagen fibers and a few round cells. in the center below a single multinucleated giant cell impresses.

Dermatoliposclerosis. reactive, benign, lobularly organized, vascular neoplasm in CVI and lipodermatosclerosis. in the upper dermis regularly structured, wall-thick capillary vessels that are grouped together to form structured lobules. distinct hyalinization of collagenous connective tissue, dilated lymphatic vessels and thinning round cell infiltrates.
