Chenopodium ambrosioides var. anthelminticum

Herbaceous plant native to Central America and southern North America from which the oleum chenopodii anthelminticum, the American worm seed oil, a bitter, toxic liquid formerly used against hookworms and flushing worms, was obtained by steam distillation. The oil contains ascaridol, terpinene, limonene and camphor. see also fragrant goosefoot.
