Galium aparine, also known as climbing bedstraw, is an annual herbaceous plant, 50-150 cm tall, from the genus Galium in the Rubiaceae family. The plant is native to Central, Southern and Eastern Europe.

Burdock is the parent plant of Herba Galii aparinis

Ingredients: a substance similar to rennet enzyme; also galiosin, rubiadin glycoside, the iridoglycosides asperuloside and aucubin as well as essential oils.
