flush phenomena. sudden facial erythema with hot flush and tingling itching of the facial skin (here after ingestion of fumaric acid in case of psoriasis vulgaris). symmetric facial erythema with emphasis on the cheek area, no other general symptoms. after about 30 minutes normal condition again. the acuteity of the skin changes with the short-term course is typical for a flush phenomenon.
