CLEC4C gene

The CLEC4C gene (CLEC4C stands for: C-Type Lectin Domain Family 4 Member C) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12p13.31. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene. Associated signaling pathways include the innate immune system and CLEC7A (Dectin-1) signaling. An important paralog of this gene is CLEC6A.

Diseases associated with CLEC4C include blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasia and cutaneous lupus erythematosus.
