Arena viruses (basic structure): Enveloped particle with a segmented genome consisting of 2 RNA molecules, the L-segment and the S-segment. The ends of the two RNA molecules are joined together. 2 glycoportienes G1 and G2 are located in the envelope and serve to absorb and release the L-segments into the cytoplasm.
