café-au-lait stains. reflected light microscopy: detailed view from a lesion on the thigh in a 36-year-old woman. light brown, double contoured reticulation pattern as well as intact skin field lines. no other structural features.

Rubella. Discrete maculopapular exanthema on the trunk in a 53-year-old female patient.

Pemphigoid, bullous. general view: state of healing. Disseminated, sharply defined or confluent, brownish or livid, postinflammatory hyperpigmentation in a 55-year-old female patient.

Pityriasis versicolor alba: irregularly distributed, symptomless, bright spots that appeared after repeated exposure to sunlight.

Lupus erythematosus, subacute-cutaneous. detail magnification: Multiple, solitary or confluent, small spots to large areas, sharply defined, anular and gyrated erythema of neck and face of a 68-year-old female patient, partly covered with yellowish crusts.

nevus, melanocytic, halo-nevus. overview image: periumbilical localized halo-nevi, whose size has not changed in the last years. similar skin lesions were found on the patient's back.

Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome: extensive vascular malformation with extensive nevus flammeus affecting the trunk and both arms. So far no evidence of soft tissue hypertrophy. No AV fistulas.

Acanthosis nigricans (benigna): generalized clinical picture with large, blurred, symptomless, surface rough, brown, otherwise completely symptomless plaques.

Erysipelas carcinomatosum. Sharply defined, livid-reddish, coarse, extensive plaque in the breast area of a 43-year-old female patient with breast cancer (therapy with doxorubicin). The changes of the left arm are "drug-induced".

Neurofibromatosis segmentale.
