Psoriasis palmaris et plantaris: dry keratotic plaque type. Pretreated psoriasis plantaris: typical pattern of infection with flat, sharply defined red plaques with and without scaly deposits.
Hand-foot-mouth disease: numerous, acute, painful, polygonal vesicles with a red courtyard; unspecific flu-like prodromas lasting about 2 weeks before.
Lichen planus (classic type): extensive infestation of the soles of the feet. At the treads, the (classic) morphological structure of the LP is no longer recognizable due to an even confluence of efflorescences. In the area of the hollow foot, diagnosis per aspect is possible.
psoriasis palmaris et plantaris (pustular type): extensive erythema of the entire palm. sharply limited towards the wrist. mixed type with numerous pustules and dyshidrotic vesicles. coarse lamellar desquamation.
Melanoma, malignant, amelanotic. detail enlargement: Cherry-sized tumor, completely eroded on the surface, with yellowish crusts on the edges, sharply defined.
Kaposi's sarcoma. 80-year-old patient with CML, which has been known for many years, has reddish-livid, rough plaques in the area of both plantae and cherry-sized, slightly bleeding tumor nodes in the area of both lower legs.
Eczema, dyshidrotic: chronically recurrent, slightly infiltrated plaques on the right foot of a 43-year-old man. Furthermore, reddish-brown, partly encrusted, punctiform, older erosions appear in places where water clear vesicles were previously present. Occasionally pinhead-sized, bulging water clear vesicles as well as fine-lamellar scaly deposits. Similar skin lesions are also present on both plantae and the edges of the toes.

Hand-foot syndrome: after combined chemotherapy. grade 3: extensive blistering; oozing, coarse lamellar desquamation; ulcerations, severe pain; considerable discomfort that makes everyday business impossible.

Psoriasis plantaris (plaque type): red, massively scaly, markedly indurated plaque on the sole of the foot; yellowish, flat keratoses; there is a marked restriction in walking ability.
psoriasis palmaris et plantaris. sharply defined, clearly infiltrated, rough plaques with coarsening of the skin field. redness accentuated in the marginal area. extensive (parakeratotic) scaling. this finding is typical of non-pretreated psoriasis plantaris.
