Foot infection, gram-negative. detailed view: clearly visible are the laminar substance defects and the white, purulent and crusty macerations on the backs of the toes and on the forefoot. furthermore, multiple, smooth, round or oval, firm, brownish papules in the sense of a chronic stasis dermatitis are visible on the back of the foot.
Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome. distinct erythema with doughy swelling in the region of the upper lip on the right side which extends to the nasolabial fold. distinct lingua plicata in a 50-year-old woman. whitish coatings are recognizable at the anterior edge of the tongue (minimal variant of a lingua geographica.
Erysipelas. circumscribed, fiery red, sharply defined erythema with extensive swelling of the skin. distinct tension pain in the affected areas. submandibular lymph nodes are dolent swollen, there is chills and fever.
Erysipelas, acute: Acute reddened and painful, large-area, succulent plaque, only blurredly limited, which has existed for 5 days and is accompanied by high fever; inflammation parameters massively increased.
Zoster. general view: 6-day-old, extensive, partly herpetiform vesicles with incipient superinfection of the left lateral neck, the left shoulder and the upper trunk of a 22-year-old man. At present there is a distinct swelling of the left side of the left supraclavicular, axillary and cervical palpable LK with painful pressure; in addition there is a severe feeling of sickness, increased temperature and pain. Atopic eczema has been present since birth.
chronic paronychia: moderately painful paronychia existing for months. nail fold reddened and swollen. from time to time a purulent secretion empties under pressure. cuticles completely missing.

severe zoster ophthalmicus. right-sided headache increasing for 5 days with accompanying feeling of illness. redness and swelling of the skin with stabbing, shooting pain for 3 days. extensive erythema and swelling. skin is highly sensitive to touch. no fever. no leukocytosis.
