Keratosis palmoplantaris diffusa circumscripta: Thick, waxy, yellowish, plate-like horny layer which covers the entire palm of the hand and also the sole of the foot. The mobility of the hands is restricted. Characteristically, the red seam of the affected groin skin shown here separates the infected skin from unaffected field skin.
contact dermatitis, toxic: overview picture: hyperkeratotic-rhagadiform eczema of the Palma in a 61-year-old, self-employed craftsman. for a long time eczema of the hands and fingers occurred again and again, partly also deep rhagades. occupationally there has been contact with tin-containing analogue paste (tin-containing soldering paste) for a long time. the temporal connection of the first manifestation with the use of the paste is given. on weekends the eczema heals very well, likewise it comes to complete remission during longer work-free intervals (holidays).
Keratosis palmoplantaris diffusa circumscripta. 2-year-old boy has a chronic, congenital, smooth, evenly distributed, waxy thickened and yellowish discolored plaque formation of both palms. No symptoms. It is an autosomal dominant inherited palmoplantar cornification disorder.
Pustulosis palmaris et plantaris: acutely occurring, disseminated, 0.2-0.4 cm large, smooth yellowish pustules next to older, dried brown spots; neither history nor clinical evidence of psoriasis.
Pustulosis palmaris et plantaris: massive (sterile), painful pustulosis of the soles of the feet after a febrile (streptococcal) infection. solitary, also grouped pustules, in places conflated to form larger "pus lakes". associated, pressure-painful arthritis (swelling) of the sternoclavicular joints.

Dyskeratosis follicularis: Infestation of the palms of the hands; in central areas of the palm flat, common keratoses, at the ball of the thumb about 0.1-0.2 cm large, glassy papules.

Melanoma, malignant, acrolentiginous. 6 years of persistent, size progressive, approx. 1.8 x 1.6 cm large, darkly pigmented, flat plaque on the palmar side of the distal phalanx of the index finger in a 73-year-old man. Focal central ulceration with scabbed overlay. The borderline is blurred, an irregular and blurred demarcation to the surrounding skin tissue is visible.
Eczema, hyperkeratotic rhagadiform eczema of the hands and feet. 3-year-old man: 3-year-old man with a chronic recurrent, blurred, flat, yellowish-brown, rough, strong, scaly plaques on the left hand of a 21-year-old man; several small, painful rhagades and smaller artifactual excoriations are visible.
Pustulosis palmaris et plantaris: multiple, acute, disseminated, 0.2-0.4 cm large, smooth yellowish pustules next to older, dried-up brown spots on the palm of a 42-year-old man. Occurs on both palms in an acute, febrile streptococcal angina.
