Livedo racemosa : irregular, bizarre non-closed circle segments, as pioneering morphological indicators of livedo racemosa, and cholesterol embolism occurred in this 73-year-old passon smoker.
Tinea pedum. general view: Discrete, well defined, heart-shaped, reddened, slightly scaly erythema and hyperkeratosis on the left inner side of the foot in an 80-year-old female patient with exacerbated tinea pedum. The prominent hallux valgus is altered with the same efflorescences.
Ecchymosis syndrome, painful. intermittent manifestation of painful skin bleeding in a 52-year-old manic-depressive woman. Initial development of edematous, overheated, pressure-sensitive erythema, followed by development of bleeding and slow expansion of the skin changes.
Drug reaction, fixed: two red, sharply defined, moderately itchy plaques that have existed for a few days. The peripheral areas are lighter in colour, with a tendency to blistering in the centre. Irregular use of headache medication known and added (!).
Dermatoliposclerosis in a known chronic venous insufficiency with superimposed erysipelas, which is indicated by the finger-shaped extensions which protrude at the right margin of the picture (lymphangitic spread).
Sézary syndrome: 62-year-old patient. 1 year ago first skin changes with uncharacteristic moderately itchy erythema on the trunk and extremities. Findings: Erythroderma with extensive edematous swelling of the skin; massive pruritus; taut lower legs; massive lymph node packages of the groin.
Angiokeratoma circumscriptum: vascular malformation existing since birth, which has become increasingly prominent in recent years; apart from slight accidental bleeding, no symptoms.
acrodermatitis chronica arophicans. early stage of acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans with still (clearly) recognizable border of the erythema chronicum migrans (proximal thigh). the lower half of the lower leg is clearly more strongly reddened, flat doughy indurated. no painfulness. no painful lymphadenitis. still (!) no atrophy of the surface epithelium detectable.
Wegener's granulomatosis: ulcer of about 5.0 x 5.0 cm in size localized at the left inner malleolus and extending into the subcutis in a 23-year-old woman. in the ulcerous surroundings there is an erythematous rim measuring about 2.5 cm. the rim of the ulcer is bizarrely configured. the ulcer is extremely dolent and yellowish fibrinous.
Contact dermatitis toxic: Detail enlargement: Severe hyperkeratosis on reddened skin as well as isolated small rhagades and erosions on the left ankle of a 46-year-old patient.
psoriasis palmaris et plantaris. sharply defined, clearly infiltrated, rough plaques with coarsening of the skin field. redness accentuated in the marginal area. extensive (parakeratotic) scaling. this finding is typical of non-pretreated psoriasis plantaris.
Dermatitis solaris: Large, very painful erythema with beginning blister formation on the back of the foot. 30-year-old patient after several hours of sunbathing in the midday sun.
