Vulvitis chronica circumscripta plamacellularis: Chronic, painful, deep red inflammation of the labia minora, urinary incontinence, malignancy can be excluded, but due to the symmetrical "imitation"-like distribution, it is clinically unlikely.

Hidradenitis suppurativa, a widespread and progressive condition with papules, pustules, nodules, indurated, ductal fistulae and consecutive chronic lymphedema.

Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus: in addition to the still detectable changes of the lichen sclerosus, blurred, flat, erosive, red, solid plaque on the posterior commissure with spreading to the perineum. Histological evidence of a spinocellular carcinoma.
