Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome (monsymptomatic form; here Blepharitis granulomatosa): initially recurrent, now permanent swelling of the left upper lid; no lingua plicata; no neurological symptoms.
Chronic eyelid dermatitis: chronic, recurrent dermatitis with double row of eyelashes (distichiasis: therapeutic procedure: sclerotherapy or excision of the roots of the eyelashes because of the danger of trichiasis on the cornea with formation of a corneal ulcer.

Eyelid swelling: massive swelling of the eyelids in the case of known contact allergy to hair dye (here after application of hair dye containing para-phenylenediamine).
Acute contact allergic dermatitis of the eyelid: acute contact allergic dermatitis of the eyelid, with massive swelling of both sides of the eyelid. Considerable, painful itching, contact allergy not known before.
Severe contact allergic eczema of the scalp to a hair dye (paraphenyldiamine). massive swelling of the entire scalp and eyelids. arrows mark the visible redness of the capillitium.
