Halo-like light coloration around psoriasis lesions due to temporary contrasting of the surrounding area after dithranol therapy, with simultaneous non-coloration of the psoriatic lesion. Such contrast phenomena can also occur after UV irradiation. It is a pseudoleukoderm, i.e. a pure color contrast phenomenon that is not based on a disorder of the melanocytes.
