Step with bare feet in the cold, < 18 ° C, water, which reaches the height of half the calf. Alternately, the legs are lifted for 10 seconds - stork walk. Besides the cold stimulus, the activation of the muscle pump works here! Duration of the therapy: 30 seconds up to max. 3 minutes, resp. until a strong cold feeling of the feet sets in. After treading water, tread on the spot for a while until the legs warm up again. Never tread water when your body is cold!
